  Stephane (Daniel Auteuil) and Maxime (Andre Dussollier) are partners in a violin repair shop. Troubles arise when Maxime's young girlfriend, Camille (Emmanuelle Beart), enters the scene, and Maxime tells Stephane that he is leaving his wife for Camille. A romantic, but repressed, triangle forms as Stephane enters into a platonic relationship with Camille.
