A runaway, Danny (Lowell Brown), meets drifter Bix (Brett Halsey), and the two travel together from town to town. In one small burg, Bix meets and falls for waitress Carrie (Joyce Meadows). But he must keep moving on. However, on the eve of his leaving, Carrie is murdered and Bix is the prime suspect. Not to worry; Danny saves the day as he uncovers the creepy Jesse (Jack Elam) as the killer. Jack Elam makes this at least somewhat watchable.
