They receive help from Swiss archaeologist Albrecht (Jason Robards Sr.) who provides them with a roof over their heads and advice. When they reach the grave, they discover that the remains are no longer there. Pherides decides to track down the grave robbers and, in the process, hears stories from superstitious Kyra (Helen Thimig) about a vampire Thea (Ellen Drew).
