A store regular, Miss Falewicz (Mia Farrow) comes in and threatens to tell on them if she cannot have a working copy of "Ghostbusters" by the end of the day. The solution to their problem: Mike and Jerry recreate films–including "Ghostbusters," "The Lion King," and "Back to the Future"–using themselves and neighbors as actors. The shop does a great business when the clients are thrilled with the remakes and ask for more.

One day, Axiom deposits a robot (voice of Elissa Knight) EVE–(Extra-terrestrial Vegetation Evaluator)–on Earth. WALL-E falls in love with EVE, but EVE realizes that WALL-E has uncovered a secret that could save Earth, and she races back to Axiom to report her findings. WALL-E follows her in what turns out to be a fantastic voyage through space that ends aboard Axiom with its TV-addicted, slovenly occupants. This story teaches a lesson about mindless consumerism and eco-ignorance. The film won an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and received five additional nominations.
