The crew will be delivering the frigate to Algerrocco, and Bosun Dibble (Frankie Howerd) sees this as a chance to make money by selling tickets to passengers for a Mediterranean cruise. This is a move that is definitely in violation of regulations, Fairweather has no idea of what Dibble has planned for his ship–and the fun begins.

James Bond, Agent 007 (Sean Connery) gets involved and, in the process, woos Pussy Galore (Honor Blackman) who happens to be aiding Goldfinger in his plot. Never fear, by story's end, Agent 007 saves the day.

The celebrities attempt poisoning, bombing, and even a drowning–all of which are met with amusing complications.
