  Four thieves led by Alex (Frank Wolff) pull off a gold heist at a ski resort using an explosive to divert the locals. Meanwhile, Alex's girlfriend Gypsy (Sheila Noonan) and ski instructor Gil (Michael Forest) head to a remote cabin to be used by the thieves. But the explosion also releases a spidery-like monster that traps the group in the cabin. This ultra-cheap Roger Corman film does have some nice South Dakota scenery.

  Professor Wyman (John Carradine) has invented a deep-diving submersible and sends a team of researchers to explore the ocean floor. After a collision, the divers abandon the submarine and find a network of caves that even have air pockets. In fact, they come across a man who has lived there for years. After a volcanic eruption begins that is sure to doom the caves, the good professor, still trying to locate them from above, comes up with another submersible to save the day. But where is the petrified stuff?
