Ayn Rand: A Sense of Life   1997     3 stars    N/R, 145 min.
Genre: Documentary
Director: Michael Paxton
Cast: Sharon Gless

Narrated by Sharon Gless, this biography (biased in favor of its subject) relates the neo-feminist, philosopher, Ayn Rand's story through interviews, photos, and film clips from her early days in Communist Russia through migration to America where she professed her objectivism philosophy. Although the story depicts Rand through rose-colored glasses, it does provide insightful viewing. The film received an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary.
