He is seeing a psychiatrist, Dr. Squires (Ben Kingsley)–a pot smoker–who trades therapy sessions with Luke for bags of weeds. When Luke tells Dr. Squires that he is depressed, Dr. Squires tells him to go out with a girl, get high, and have sex. What Dr. Squires does not know is that Luke has a crush on Stephanie (Olivia Thirlby) who just happens to be Dr. Squires' daughter.
