So, the only way for him to see the much anticipated film is for his friends to steal it and allow Linus to watch the film before he dies.

But, Kangaroo (voice of Carol Burnett) considers the Whos to be nothing more than Horton's hallucination and rounds up other jungle animals to teach Horton a lesson. Horton will not relent and tells the others, "a person is a person, no matter how small." Will the Whos speak up and be saved?

The selection upsets martial arts instructor Shifu (voice of Dustin Hoffman) and his prize students–Tigress, Monkey, Viper, Mantis, and Crane (voices of Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, and David Cross)–who expected to be selected, and Shifu refuses to train Po. Now, Tai Lung escapes from prison, and the prize students head out to intercept him, leaving Shifu with no choice other than to train the flabby Po to fulfill the prophesy and save Peaceful Valley from Tai Lung's wrath. The film was nominated for a Best Animated Feature Oscar.

Susan is given the new name of Ginormica (voice of Witherspoon), and is welcomed by the other imprisoned monsters–insect-headed Dr. Cockroach (voice of Hugh Laurie), blobish B.O.B. (voice of Seth Rogen), and half-human/half-fish Missing Link (voice of Will Arnett)–welcome her. Susan is doomed to spend her life in the prison–until an evil alien, Galaxhar (voice of Rainn Wilson), threatens to conquer Earth. Now, Gen. W.R. Monger (voice of Kiefer Sutherland) convinces the President (voice of Stephen Colbert) to promise the monsters their freedom if they can defeat Galaxhar and his army of clones and robots.

The flasher enters the mall and start flashing, which causes the mall's directors to call in the police. Detective Harrison (Ray Liotta) arrives on the scene, and pathetic Ronnie sees his appearance as a chance to show the police department that he should be hired as a police officer if he solves the case before Harrison. And the contest begins with Ronnie constantly getting in the way of the investigation.

While waiting to approach Jones, Dale witnesses crooked cop Carol (Rosie Perez) and Jones kill a man. Dale panics and flees the scene, leaving behind his still-smoldering joint. Jones finds the joint, gets help from middle man Red (Danny McBride), and tracks it back to Saul and Dean. Now, hit men appear on the scene, and Dale and Saul try to escape while bullets and body parts fly through the air.

Of course, Jared opens the book and reads about magical creatures living in the woods near the house. Soon after, the children meet a hobgoblin Hogsqueal (voice of Seth Rogen) and a brownie Thimbletack (voice of Martin Short). Now they learn about an ogre Mulgarath (voice of Nick Nolte) who covets the book because it will give him the secrets necessary to rule the world. Will the children be able to protect themselves, and the world, from the army of goblins gathering on their lawn?

So, with nerdy friend Fogell (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)– who has managed to get his hands on a fake Hawaiian drivers' license–in tow, the trio goes shopping. They send Fogell into the store, and, wouldn't you know it, the liquor store is robbed while he is inside. Fogell is knocked unconscious, and Seth and Evan ditch him. Now, Fogell ends up in the custody of two inept police officers Slater (Bill Hader) and Michaels (Seth Rogen) and spends the night cruising. Meanwhile, Seth and Evan head off with a total stranger, Francis (Joe Lo Truglio), who tells them he will help them get the party's liquor. And the adventures continue.
