Beowulf (voice of Ray Winstone) arrives on the scene and eventually does slay Grendel but then finds himself tempted, seduced, and corrupted by a water demon who is Grendel's Mother (voice of Angelina Jolie). Beowulf fathers a son with Grendel's Mother, and now, years later, he is destined to fight to the death his dragon son.
