Talented and mute artist Sean (Eric Roberts) is haunted by the murder of his mother, which he witnessed as a child. There are those who do not want outsiders around, but Lacy is infatuated with Sean and hangs around to find out more about him. Two women turn up missing followed by the kidnapping of Lacy and her assistant. The viewer will soon see Sean's inspiration for his art.
