Before they can marry, Greg must leave for the V-Day invasion. When Gaby hears that Greg is missing in action and is presumed dead, her life changes, and she becomes a "loose woman." Greg shows up alive, and now Gaby will not marry him because she cannot tell him about her sexual encounters experienced when he was away. But, Gaby finally confesses, and Greg forgives her.
