Kansas City high-school jock Chris Pratt (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) had it all until a tragic accident changed his life, and he was left with neurological damage. Now, a few years later, Chris works as a bank janitor and shares an apartment with blind, wise-cracking telemarketer Lewis (Jeff Daniels) who he met in rehab. One day, Gary Spargo (Matthew Goode) and his girlfriend Luvlee (Isla Fisher) enter Chris' life with plans to rob his bank and use the easily manipulated Chris as their lookout. Lewis is suspicious, but will he be able to intervene?
