Set in the Pacific Northwest, this film's scenery is the film's highlight as it provides the setting for a romantic triangle. Beyond that, this soaper will only appeal to the affectionate few.

As a timecop, Max Walker (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is sent to an earlier era to stop Senator Aaron McComb (Ron Silver) who is attempting to rearrange events of the past to alter the future and establish a monopoly on time travel through which he can retrieve Civil War gold to finance his campaign to become President. When Walker arrives in the past, he discovers that McComb had ordered an attack years before that resulted in the murder of Walker's wife Melissa (Mia Sara). With this knowledge, will Walker be able to save Melissa's life?
