Evidence in the form of $100 million worth of heroin has been stolen by French drug kingpin Fouchet (Tcheky Karyo). Problems develop, and Mike is forced to impersonate Marcus and move in with Marcus' wife Theresa (Theresa Randle) and family. Meanwhile, Marcus moves into Mike's bachelor pad. While on the trail of the loot, Julie is kidnapped by Fouchet. Car chases ensue amidst Marcus' and Mike's bantering.

The other part of Huck's life is aspiring lounge singer Billie Offer (Drew Barrymore) who hooks up with him, leaves him, comes back, and leaves again in their on-again, off-again relationship. But the main thrust of this story is Huck trying to obtain the $10,000 needed to enter the World Poker Championship.
