Travel writer Pippa McGee (Heather Graham) arrives home to be a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding when her magazine-mogul father, Malcolm (Bruce Gray), suffers a heart attack and asks Pippa to help run his bridal magazine, "Wedding Bells." Always-a-bridesmaid Pippa is less than thrilled with his request but promises to help her father with the magazine. Malcolm has chosen up-tight Ian (David Sutcliffe) as Pippa's publishing mentor, and it looks like their professional relationship could turn into a serious romance–certainly a new experience for the noncommittal Pippa.
