The actress, the woman and the personality merge into a strong yet beautiful modern woman with a soft spot. Unfortunately, this film does not provide a love interest for her to explore the tender side of her ability. But it is full of youthful energy from the supporting actors and provides enough comic situations that ascertains the stars obvious talent. Gorgeously shot in technicolor. I can only imagine what it may have been like to see this early color film on the big screen. |

| | I liked this movie. | Anonymous 09/28/2009 | I have heard that this movie was a flop, I don't think so, it is pretty good I think, and it is also sad. Trigger will make you so hungry that after seeing this movie, you have to get something to eat... and you will feel bad for eating it when she can't have any.

The marriage is filled with problems, and after Tess is named "Woman of the Year," Sam walks out. Now, Tess tries to mend her ways in order to win Sam back. Hepburn was nominated for an Oscar, and an Oscar was won for Best Original Screenplay.
