  I wasn't that keen on this movie but my children loved it and watched it quite frequently.

  Okay I'm an oldie...... well, old enough to have seen this as a kid when it first came to television here in Australia. I loved it then and have just recently seen it again with my children. We all loved it.

Never fear, by story's end, Chanticleer is back on the farm, and happiness reigns.
