Allan Quatermain (Richard Chamberlain) comes to the aid of Jessie (Sharon Stone) in search of her kidnapped archaeologist father. Col. Bockner (Herbert Lom) has formed an alliance with Dogati (John Rhys-Davies), and they have performed the kidnapping in an effort to extract the secret of where the legendary King Solomon's mines are located. Determined, but not knowing what the future holds, Quatermain and Jessie set off across Africa in their search of Jessie's father and the lost mines.
