Woefully lacking in social skills, brothers Dean and John Solomon (Will Forte and Will Arnett) learn that their father Ed (Lee Majors) is comatose and on his deathbed. But, Ed has told his doctor (Charles Chun) of his last wish: to have a grandchild before he dies. When no other women are interested, the inept brothers go online to find the surrogate mother (Kristen Wiig) who is willing to undergo artificial insemination and give their father a grandchild.
