Their parents hire defense attorney Jonathan Wilk (Orson Welles) because of his reputation for fighting against the death penalty.

When Robert mistakenly places a black pin on a plot that should have been white, the plot-owner dies. This starts a series of MAJOR problems. Good trick photography.

The monstrous effects were quite impressive given the budget involved. Then there's my other favorite X: The Man with the X-ray Eyes. No special effects but the performance by Ray Milland and Don Rickles was superb. |
