In this computer-animated space adventure, American astronaut Captain Charles T. Baker (voice of Dwayne Johnson) lands on Planet 51 and discovers that little green people are living happily there. The problem is that the little green people are afraid that alien invaders will take over their peaceful domain, and General Grawl (voice of Gary Oldman) and Professor Kipple (voice of John Cleese) try to capture Baker in order to dissect him and learn about his anatomy. Baker must now rely on his new friend, Lem (Justin Long), to help him find safety by leaving the planet and finding his way home before he is caught and ends up in the Planet 51 Alien Invaders Space Museum.
