Excellent acting helps this film as Johnny (Stanley Baker) plans a robbery while in prison on a three-year sentence. When he gets out, he pulls off the heist and hides the loot when he has trouble with his fence–but is caught due to a jealous ex-girlfriend. Back in prison, his ex-partners, wanting the money themselves, plan a prison break so that Johnny will lead them to the money. The plan works.

First on Dracula's list is the Monsignor's niece Anna (Marion Mathie) who works at a nearby pub, but the Monsignor seeks revenge and is only steps behind the vampire Dracula.

But, N'Galo has double-crossed him, and Edward is put in a coffin and buried. Grave robbers retrieve him, and his "body" is taken to anatomist Dr. Neuhardt (Christopher Lee) who revives him, and now Edward goes on a killing spree seeking revenge for his betrayal.
