A Concorde jet has crashed, and now its sole survivor, Jean (Mimsy Farmer), has disappeared. The South American drug war is the setting for this movie about freelance journalist Fran's (Lisa Blount) quest for the son, Tommy (Willie Aames), of corporate executives (Richard Bright and Karen Black). Fran and her cameraman Mark (Leonard Mann) travel to the Venezuelan jungles where they deal with brutal natives in the hostile environment. They discover a drug cartel run by corrupt Col. Brian Horne (Richard Lynch) who is holding Tommy captive, and now Fran and Mark are caught up in a life-threatening drug war.
