The ghosts go on a rampage after the family arrives, and one family member is doomed to die so that there will be 13 ghosts. Director William Castle came up with another gimmick for theater-goers: red and blue glasses to view (or not to view) the ghosts. Margaret Hamilton shines as the creepy housekeeper who came with the mansion.

The chief prison guard is Officer Brown (Roy Jenson) who is a pawn of Slocums. New recruit Brian Courtland (Clu Gulager) finds his hands are tied as well. Everything about this prison appears to be corrupt, but that does not stop Courtland from attempting to bring about reform.

Now, pieces of the puzzle fit together, and they figure out that Field's co-worker Lew Haley (Pat Hingle) is the guilty culprit. Dillman and Haley have a confrontation, and Haley crashes through the hi-rise office window and plummets to the pavement below.

It's going to be tough to wrest control back from the computer before the Enterprise is destroyed by friendly forces. "The Omega Glory" (aired 3/1/1968, stardate unknown)-A boarding party from the Enterprise checks out a starship that has no life on board. The Enterprise personnel contract a lethal virus, which, presumably, was responsible for killing the starship crew. It is observed that the nearby planet, Omega IV, has a natural immunity from the virus, but upon being beamed down, the landing party finds the captain of the starship has taken sides in internal politics and fighting–a Federation no-no.

He steals Sheriff Copperude's (Carroll O'Connor) horse and makes love to Copperude's daughter Billee (Margaret Blye). Billee tells her father that she was raped, and they follow Cole to bring him to justice. They catch up with Cole, but then Foggers arrives and takes the gold. Later, a shootout ensues, and Billee finds where the gold is hidden. But, Cole also arrives, takes the gold and Billee's clothing, and rides off to Mexico.
