  This excellent film examines the consequences of nuclear war and its inherent tragedy through the Wetherly family's–mother Carol (Jane Alexander), daughter Mary Liz (Roxana Zal), and sons Brad and Scottie (Rossie Harris and Lukas Haas)–attempts to survive their remaining days. After the attack, their small town of Hamlin outside of San Francisco is cut off from the rest of the world as radiation takes its toll, and Carol tries to help her children cope with the tragedy. Jane Alexander received an Oscar nomination.

He joins the Science Club where he finds a bottle containing a potion, and, after drinking it, Kevin finds that he has telekinetic powers. Then the "fun" begins.
