At the same time, Gloucester (Paul Sorvino) and his sons Edmund (Raul Julia) and Edgar (Rene Auberjonois) experience their own family problems.

The original movie adaptation of "I Am a Legend" was made as "The Last Man on Earth" in 1964 and starred Vincent Price as the lone survivor. It was again re-made in 2007 as "I Am Legend."
