Now, Taras Bulba has settled down to life on a farm when he decides to send his son Andrei (Tony Curtis) to school in Poland where he hopes Andrei will learn more about the hated Poles. While at school, Andrei falls in love with a Polish noblewoman, Natalia Dubrov (Christine Kaufmann). Tensions between father and son rise as each must decide between loyalty for the Cossacks and love. This story was filmed in England in 1939 as "The Rebel Son."
