The Adventures of Pluto Nash 2002 PG-13, 95 min. Genre: Comedy
Director: Ron Underwood Cast: Eddie Murphy, Randy Quaid, Rosario Dawson, Joe Pantoliano, Jay Mohr, Luis Guzman, James Rebhorn, Peter Boyle, Pam Grier, John Cleese, Burt Young, Miguel A. Nunez Jr.
Ex-con Pluto Nash (Eddie Murphy) now runs a popular nightclub on the Moon. With gambling about to be banned on Earth, the crime syndicates set their sights on the Moon for their casino operations. Nash's nightclub would be a good starting place. Lots of well-known names, but it's still a terrible, boring film that sat around for a year or more before release.

Director: Ron Underwood Cast: Geena Davis, Michael Keaton, Bonnie Bedelia, Christopher Reeve, Ernie Hudson, Charles Martin Smith, Gailard Sartain, Ray Baker, Mitch Ryan, Steven Wright
Shades of real life Mary Matalin and James Carville, only this time it is Kevin Vallick (Michael Keaton) and Julia Mann (Geena Davis) representing their respective Republican and Democrat parties. Love amidst politics on the campaign trail is the theme for this "missable" movie.

But hideous worm-like creatures start coming up through the sand, and the killing starts. The inept guys must stay and save the day. This humorous takeoff on the 1950s' horror movies is lots of fun. Blood and good special effects abound in what has become a cult classic.

The worst has happened: children have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas–or so Santa (John Goodman) believes. He decides to take the year off, and he will not deliver any gifts. This doesn't sit well with his most loyal elves, Jingle and Jangle (Ethan Suplee and Eddie Griffin), who try to prove to Santa that he is wrong. Unfortunately for them, Sparky (Chris Kattan) is making their job an awful lot harder. This story delivers loads of Christmas spirit. (Review by LW)
