One day while trying to save a cat, he accidentally kills it, and, in order to hide the killing, he covers it with plaster, thus making it a sculpture that goes on display at the cafe. The patrons consider it a work of art, and proclaim Walter to be a great artist. They want more, and the untalented Walter must resort to what was successful with the first sculpture–and people start disappearing. A real Roger Corman hoot–cheap but lots of fun.

Written by Jack Nicholson, this is the story about a TV producer (Peter Fonda) who is on the verge of divorcing his wife (Susan Strasberg) when he decides to experiment with LSD as his way of relieving the stress. His friend John (Bruce Dern) takes Paul to his friend Max's (Dennis Hopper) pad, and Paul enters the world of hallucinogentic drugs. After his trip–involving visions of sex, dancing girls, witches, a torture chamber, and death–Paul believes that he is ready to face the future.
