Thirty years have passed, but the Italian Stallion is back. The retired Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) has been coping with the death of his wife (Talia Shire) and dealing with son Rocky Jr. (Milo Ventimiglia) who is resentful and has distanced himself from his father. Needing the money, Rocky decides to step back into the ring when he is offered an exhibition match against reigning heavyweight champion Mason "The Line" Dixon (Antonio Tarver).
