  When a young hood, Ron Decker (Edward Furlong), is sent to prison at age 21, he runs into Earl Copen (Willem Dafoe) who assumes the role of mentor. Copen has learned how to survive in prison surroundings, takes Ron under his wing, and teaches him how to survive in the animal factory.

Upon waking the next morning, Josh (now played by Tom Hanks) finds that his wish has come true, and he must now cope with the responsible world of adults until he can become a kid again. Tom Hanks is great and was nominated for an Oscar.

Together they search for money–often using illegal means–in this dark comedy.

To add to his problems, Bryant causes more problems, but Henderson manages to survive.
