At the same time, right-wing lawyer Roy Cohn (Al Pacino) is also dying of AIDS and is visited by the ghost of Ethel Rosenberg (Meryl Streep) who he had sent to the electric chair.

Chris, as well as Pippa's adulterous friend Sandra (Winona Ryder), step into Pippa's life and bring her salvation by helping Pippa find her true self.

Audrey needs someone to turn to and invites Jerry to move in with her and her children (Alexis Llewellyn and Micah Berry). Jerry bonds with the family, and, despite their differences, Jerry and Audrey develop a mutual dependency on each other.
