Superman (Christopher Reeve) is back, and he is still fighting for law and order. Terrorists are threatening to blow up the Eiffel Tower and destroy Paris with a nuclear warhead. Superman rescues Lois and tosses the bomb into space where its blast awakens Kryptonian villains–Zod (Terence Stamp), Non (Jack O'Halloran), and Ursa (Sarah Douglas) who had been exiled to outer space. Now, the Kryptonians arrive on Earth and attempt to take over the planet. Meanwhile, Lois has learned that Clark Kent and Superman are the same person, and Superman must decide whether to become a normal man and share his life with Lois or retain his super powers and save Earth from the villains.
