Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home 1986 PG, 119 min. Genre: Sci-Fi / Action / Adventure
Director: Leonard Nimoy Cast: Leonard Nimoy, William Shatner, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, George Takei, Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Majel Barrett, Jane Wyatt, Catherine Hicks, Brock Peters, Jane Wiedlin, Mark Lenard, Robin Curtis, Robert Ellenstein
Time travel is the theme for this movie where Admiral Kirk (William Shatner) must lead the crew of the Enterprise–Capt. Spock (Leonard Nimoy), McCoy (DeForest Kelley), Scotty (James Doohan), Sulu (George Takei), Uhura (Nichelle Nichols), and Chekov (Walter Koenig)–back into the 20th century. The reason for their journey to 1986 San Francisco is that humpback whales are now extinct, and they are needed to translate messages from an unidentified probe. If successful, they will transfer a humpback whale to the 23rd century.
