  Jenny (Steffanie Pitt) is haunted by nightmares of the stabbing death of her mother (Sadie Nine) many years before when she was a young girl (played by Hannah Bridges) growing up in her father Dr. Adams' (Patrick Mower) mental institution. She feels the need to return to the asylum, but Jenny is not the only one who is drawn back. A killer is on the loose, and the body count grows.

  Based on a story by Herman Melville, this is the tale of Bartleby (John McEnery) who withdraws from society, preferring to live in his solitary world. He takes a job with an accountant (Paul Scofield) but is fired after he is unable to perform his tasks. Even then, Bartleby shows up for work daily until he enters a hospital and it is learned that he suffers from several ailments. The accountant is at first happy to be rid of Bartleby but later suffers over Bartleby's death. Plodding.

Jason uncovers the REAL story concerning the retreat, as the place abounds with the doctor's monstrous creations. When he finds out that he is to become part of the doctor's mind-control experiments, Jason and Judy, with the help of one of the creatures, attempt to get out.

Brought back to London, the gorilla wreaks havoc on the surroundings.
