This is Jack Nicholson's first major role, and that alone makes the film worth viewing.

He claims to have been the only person on the planet, and then bad things happen when he is not pleased. "Balance of Terror" (aired 12/15/1966, stardate 1709)-The dastardly Romulans are attacking the outposts that guard the neutral zone between the Federation and Romulan territory. Now the Enterprise is in hot pursuit, but the Romulan warship has a screen that makes them invisible. In addition to the battle that is sure to ensue, the Romulans look a lot like Vulcans, which causes the Enterprise crew to be skeptical of Spock.
