This is a pretty good version of the Mark Twain classic tale. The Howard family plays many of the parts as Ron is Huck in this TV production. Fargas is the runaway slave Jim, as Huck and Jim raft down the Mississippi River. Most of the social bite of Twain's story is missing.

While Tell prospects for gold, Orrin and Ty join cowboys Tom Sunday (Glenn Ford) and Cap Roundtree (Ben Johnson) herding cattle on the journey to Santa Fe where new troubles await.
