He accomplishes the murder and then meets Dorothy's sister Ellen (Virginia Leith) who is suspicious of her sister's death but doesn't know about her relationship with Bud. Ellen and Bud begin a romantic relationship, but when Ellen investigates circumstances behind Dorothy's death, Bud zeroes in on Ellen as his next victim. This film was remade in 1991.
