This spooky movie became the forerunner for no less than six sequels. This, the first, should not be watched alone on a stormy night! TV anchorwoman Karen White (Dee Wallace) suffers a near-fatal encounter with psychopath Eddie Quist (Robert Picardo) and, as a result, suffers from nightmares. Seeking help, Karen checks into "The Colony" run by Dr. Waggner (Patrick Macnee) and brings her husband Bill (Christopher Stone) along. Their first night at "The Colony," Karen and Bill hear nocturnal howling outside.
