George (Peter Weller), an ex-soldier of fortune in the Dominican Republic, is running a hotel in Florida when he is drawn into a trip back to the Dominican Republic. After arriving, he gets involved with the wife, Mary (Kelly McGillis), of General DeBoya (Tomas Milian). Mary and George can't keep their hands off each other and leap into a passionate affair. Meanwhile, George has been talked into ripping off the general. Murder and mayhem ensue.

Miami ex-cop Dennis (Ray Sharkey) cannot seem to stay away from temptation when his greed takes over.
