  Whoops! Just when we thought that Spock (Leonard Nimoy) was dead, it turns out that his spirit is alive and is residing in the body of Enterprise crewman Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy (DeForest Kelley). Spock's body must be transported back to the planet Vulcan, and Adm. Kirk (William Shatner) steals the Enterprise to retrieve Spock's coffin on the planet Geneses. Problems erupt when they encounter a Klingon ship, but Kirk wins the battle, retrieves the coffin, and heads for a ceremony on Vulcan to re-fuse Spock's body.
