Also joining them are Uncle Nate (Andy Richter), young Jake (Austin Robert Butler), Nana Rose (Doris Roberts), twins Art and Lee (Henri Young and Regan Young), and Bethany's boyfriend Ricky (Robert Hoffman). As evening approaches, strange things happen when glowing pods head for their roof. Inside the pods are "Zirkonian" aliens who infect Ricky with a mind-control device in order to achieve their plot of taking over Earth, and now it is up to the kids to save the planet.
