This is one of the best movies of 1984. It is a very clever comedy/drama that centers on relationships among a group of late-night owls. The group includes such people as a nightclub owner, a radio sex talk-show hostess, and an escapee from a mental hospital.

Doc gets help and advice from his former partner, Blackie Buck (Kris Kristofferson), in handling the troubled girl. Kristofferson wrote the Academy Award nominated musical score.
