  A family feud involving a love potion has been brewing between the Winfields and the McCoys, and that is what greets Al Stewart (Bud Abbott) and Wilbert (Lou Costello) when they head for the Kentucky hills to claim an inheritance when Wilbert learns that he is related to the McCoys. One of the highlights is when Al and Wilbert meet Aunt Huddy (Margaret Hamilton) who is a witch. She turns Wilbert into a voodoo doll. Turn about is fair play, and Wilbert then turns Aunt Huddy into a voodoo doll.

  This film is a throwback to the monster flicks of the 1950s. A blast rocks the farmlands in Wisconsin, which turns out to be a black hole that lets beings from a parallel universe reach Earth. The being that causes the trouble is a giant spider, which controls the earthly spiders and eats its way through the rural area. The spider eggs are mistaken by marijuana grower Dan Kester (Robert Easton) and his wife Ev (Leslie Parrish) as valuable industrial diamonds. But, Dr. J.R. Vance (Steve Brodie) teams up with scientist Dr. Jenny Langer (Barbara Hale) to investigate and, hopefully, save the world.

When Drew's father Gus (Clancy Brown) kills Drew's dog Zowie, Jeff and Drew bury Zowie in the Indian burial ground. Zowie comes back to life and kills Gus. Now, Jeff, hoping for another life-after-death experience, thinks about how he can bring his mother back to life by burying her in the same burial ground .
