Recently kicked off the police force following false charges, Frank Dooley (John Candy) is hired along with disbarred lawyer Norman Kane (Eugene Levy), and they take jobs as security guards at a Los Angeles firm. Crime lord Michael Carlino (Robert Loggia) is running a smuggling operation out of the firm, and Dooley and Kane uncover the foul play. But, will these two naive security guards have what it takes to bring about law and order?
