Lancelot of the Lake   1974     3 stars    N/R, 80 min.

Forget about bravery and honor in this story about King Arthur's (Vladimir Antolek-Oresek) Knights of the Round Table; the brave knights have been turned into greedy men. Newly returned from his unsuccessful search for the Holy Grail, Lancelot du Lac (Luc Simon) again woos Guenevere (Laura Duke Condominas), an act that proves futile as director Robert Bresson makes his point that Camelot was only a dream.
