  Quiet and sensitive 16-year-old Mason (Vincent Kartheiser) lives in his own world until he meets Danny (Taryn Manning), and they bond. But events change course following a fatal car accident for which Mason takes the blame instead of naming his father (Arliss Howard). After spending two years at the juvenile detention center, Mason is released and tries to renew his relationship with Danny who now has a new boyfriend.
