It is Halloween, 1977, and, when their car breaks down, they seek refuge from a storm in a spooky house. The house just happens to be occupied by the bizarre Firefly family that spends its time kidnapping, torturing, and killing its victims. Now, the Fireflys attack the unsuspecting "visitors" who must do all in their power to escape the "House of 1000 Corpses."

As for the story, Sinbad (voice of Brendan Fraser) helps a princess (voice of Jennifer Hale) conquer evil wizard Baraka (voice of Leonard Nimoy).
