Another couple–Leslie and Randy (Julie Ann Emery and J.P. Davis)–is also staying at the inn, and that night a demon, Tin Man (Michael Madsen), drops a message into the chimney. The message reveals that the Tin Man has killed God and wants another body within 12 hours, or he will kill all four of the inn's visitors. In desperation, they search for weapons to kill the Tin Man, and through their struggles they find that their past sins play a big role in their efforts to survive.

When one of the soldiers injures himself on the farm, the other Union soldiers decide to wait for him to heal. Not a good idea, as conflicts ensue.

Kevin gets help from Jennifer (Justine Waddell) whose brother was a victim of RK, and Kevin's childhood friend Samantha also joins in on the investigation as they race to win the "game" by figuring out the mystery before one or all of them die.
